What affect does cortisol have on your body?

A great side effect of reducing stress is being able to shed pounds easily! The main ingredient in our calm supplement is ashwagandha, and it helped me reduce cortisol and lose 20 lbs in 2018!

Cortisol is known as a “stress hormone” because your adrenal glands release it in response to stress, as well as when your blood sugar levels get too low.

Unfortunately, in some cases, cortisol levels may become chronically elevated, which can lead to high blood sugar levels and increased fat storage in the abdomen.

Ashwagandha has been shown to help reduce cortisol! So if your diet and exercise plan isn’t taking you where you need to be, and you’re experiencing stress in your life, the inability to shed weight may be due to elevated cortisol.

Please do what I did, and talk to your doctor. When I had my bloodwork done it did show elevated cortisol, and I immediately started my supplements which helped drastically.

In the meantime, it is perfectly safe to start taking our stress busting supplement right away!
